Ingredients: 1 Banana, a handful of raspberries, a spoonful of chia seeds, 1 cup spinach, a splash of almond milk, 3 ice cubes and blend until smooth.

The fun thing about smoothies is that you can absolutely put anything – fruits, vegetables, juice, nuts, seeds – you desire and they will mostly taste great! Almond milk brings out the fruitiness of the banana and raspberries instead of covering it like an orange juice would and makes the smoothie creamier.


Fall Inspired Overnight Oats

Wondering what overnight oats are? They are simply oats that are soaked in milk overnight in the fridge, and in the morning, it becomes a perfect hearty and filling breakfast. If you get tired of eating eggs or want to “healthify” cereal, then this recipe is an absolute keeper!


  • Kind Cinnamon Oat Clusters granola (contains flaxseed, amaranth, buckwheat, oats, millet, quinoa)

Preparing it is seriously easy! At night, I put almond milk over the granola, oats and a handful of chia seeds. Refrigerate the bowl, mug, jar or whichever container you prefer. The next morning, I added some toasted pecans, raisins and topped it off with a tablespoon of delicious Pumpkin Butter from Trader Joe’s. This recipe is super easy and really delicious!


Mashed Mixed Potatoes

Most of us are big fans of mashed potatoes because they remind us of comfort food from home. Usually, whole milk, sour cream and a whole load of butter are what go in the mashed potatoes. Nothing’s wrong with that, but most days aren’t thanksgiving or Christmas, and we don’t have to indulge to eat it. Here’s how I use almond milk:


  • 1 big sweet potato
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup of greek yogurt
  • salt and pepper


Boil the mixed potatoes; when done, mash them up while pouring almond milk, butter, greek yogurt, salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
